Dirk Kuyt ‘did everything not to lose’ at ADO Den Haag: ‘Hope the club makes the right choices’

Dirk Kuyt has responded to his resignation from ADO Den Haag via a statement on social media. “Unfortunately I didn’t win this match, but I did everything I could not to lose,” says the former top footballer, among other things.

“Unfortunately, my trainership at ADO Den Haag came to an early end”, Kuyt begins his message.

“In recent months I have been able to build an intensive relationship with my staff and players. The results were unfortunately not as desired, but I will always keep the respect and trust in you. I wish the players and staff a lot of success for the rest of the season. I hope that the club will make the right choices in the future, not only for the players and staff, but also for all loyal fans and people who care about ADO Den Haag. Haag and the supporters deserve to return to the highest level.”
