Group Do or Die: Eintracht rises from the dead, Tottenham hurt Marseille in 95th minute

Eintracht Frankfurt has caused a sensation in Group D of the Champions League. In the Do or Die Group, in which everything was still possible, Frankfurt climbed to 2nd place thanks to a hard-fought victory over Sporting Clube de Portugal (1-2). Tottenham Hotspur won a point in Marseille (1-1) in the nick of time from Olympique Marseille (1-2) and that results in the group win.

In Group D, each participant could still become a group winner. In fact, virtually every club was at the top for a while. But none of that counts. Randal Kolo Muani’s winning goal (pictured) did. He ensured the liberation in Lisbon. Sporting, where Jeremiah St. Juste played for 77 minutes, took the lead and briefly topped Group D.

In the 2nd half, Eintracht miraculously came alongside via a exploited knock by Daichi Kamada. Frankfurt was lucky, because it was a very natural hand from Sebastian Coates, after he was jumped from the back by Kamada.

Frankfurt and Tottenham cheer
The Frankfurt fans who had traveled along cried out and towards the end their eyes turned to Marseille. There it was 1-1 for a long time. Marseille was also briefly at the top after a goal from Chancel Mbemba. Clement Lenglet equalized in the 54th minute. Tottenham then failed to take the lead, but eventually won over Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Everything different in the 95th minute
unbelievable! Because thanks to that goal in the 95th minute, not Marseille will go to the Europa League, but Sporting. So the Portuguese are also cheering. Tottenham climbed over Eintracht to group win in injury time.
