Three goals and an assist. That is Michy Batshuayi’s share in Fenerbahçe’s easy 2-5 win against low-flying Istanbulspor. The Red Devil has already scored five goals in six league matches.
Batshuayi first opened the score in the 18th minute, before teammate Irfan Kahveci doubled the margin. Jetmir Topalli softened on behalf of the host, but Batsman deepened again.
A second goal from Topalli did not help. On the contrary, it was Enner Valencia and hat-trick hero Batshuayi who sold the penultimate in the standings a heavy defeat.
Thanks to the resounding victory, Fenerbahce still leads the general classification in the Turkish first division with 26 out of 33. First pursuer Adana Demirspor has three points less.
