Jutta Leerdam has convincingly placed in the 1000 meters in qualifying for the first series of World Cup competitions. The Jumbo-Visma skater was by far the fastest in Thialf with 1.13.53.
Leerdam was ahead of Antoinette Rijpma-De Jong (1.14.91) and Michelle de Jong (1.15.27). The 2 other World Cup tickets went to Marrit Fledderus (1.15.31) and Isabel Grevelt (1.15.60).
Femke Kok was the big loser. The driver of Reggeborgh finished 6th and is missing on the kilometer at the first World Cup competitions.
Leerdam won the 500 meters earlier this weekend. She finished 3rd in the 1500m.
