Lewis Hamilton raves about his own racing film with Brad Pitt: ‘Best car racing film ever’

Lewis Hamilton is wildly enthusiastic about the film about Formula 1 that he co-produces and in which Brad Pitt plays the lead. “I expect a lot from it. I think we will make the best car racing film ever, also in terms of visual effects. The fans will love it,” said the 37-year-old 7-time world champion on Motorsport.com.

Hamilton has recently jumped into the film industry. He and his manager Penni Thow founded a production house called Dawn Apollo Films. Tim Cook, Apple’s chief executive, supports the project.

Pitt was already on the paddock
He was allowed to wave the finish flag last Sunday during the United States Grand Prix in Austin, which Max Verstappen won. Pitt was there too; the top actor soaked up the atmosphere of the paddock to empathize with his role as a race car driver.

“I can’t help but be delighted, because what I’ve accomplished with my team so far is almost unbelievable. I have Tim Cook’s support, also for making a documentary about my career. And then a legend like Brad Pitt also in the film.”
