The duel in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League between the Antwerp FC of trainer Mark van Bommel and KV Oostende has been postponed by fifteen minutes. The away team’s bus was stuck in a traffic jam.
Van Bommel and co have to kick off fifteen minutes later. The game was supposed to start at 6.30 pm, but now only starts at 6.45 pm. The ring road around Antwerp is notorious, because there are regular traffic jams around the Belgian city, especially during rush hour. It was also not possible to make a detour for the team bus, because the police escort for the bus was already waiting somewhere further down.
ℹ️ KV Oostende has just arrived at the Bosuil. The referee has decided to leave the kick-off with fifteen minutes.
