College football is arguably the best sport the United States has to offer. By that we don’t mean the quality of the game, but the storylines around it. Last night it happened again. Tennessee Volunteers provided a resounding surprise and with that a popular festival erupted.
The Volunteers did not beat great rival Alabama Crimson Tide for 16 years. So you can understand that the joy was great when it finally worked again. Especially the way it was done was brilliant.
Winning field goal
It was pretty exciting in Knoxville, Tennessee. Fit in the dying seconds it became clear who was going to win. That eventually became the home team in the VERY LAST SECOND. Chase McGrath became the great hero of the University of Tennessee. He shot his team through a field goal to the crazy victory: 52-49.

After McGrath kicked the ball between the posts, all hell broke loose at Neyland Stadium – in the good sense of the word. Tens of thousands of students dressed in orange stormed the field to celebrate the party. In the end, one of the goalposts was also stolen, which was also spotted in downtown Knoxville. What a wealth.
The goal post is officially on the strip 😂
