Premier League: Manchester United draw against Newcastle, Chelsea beat Aston Villa

Manchester United failed to convince in the 6-point game against Newcastle United. Erik ten Hag’s team created few chances and had to disappoint the fans at Old Trafford: 0-0. Chelsea extend their lead over United by beating Aston Villa.

And that was perhaps also due to the defensive qualities of Sven Botman, who played the entire game for Newcastle. Tyrell Malacia was on United’s bench. Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal was disallowed.

In the very last minute of the game United had arguably the best chance of the entire game. After a brilliant pass with Casemiro’s outside, Marcus Rashford almost hit the mark, but to no avail.

Chelsea won by 2 goals from Mason Mount from Aston Villa and distance from Manchester United. West Ham United lost points to Southampton: 1-1.
