Brentford thanks Toney and Veltman for victory over Brighton and is firmly in the left row

Brentford has booked a surprisingly easy win at home over Brighton & Hove Albion. Striker Ivan Toney was of great value with 2 goals: 2-0.

Within half an hour, the home team was ahead. On a pass from Frank Onyeka, Toney hit the target. After more than an hour of play, Joël Veltman made a mistake. The Dutch defender knocked Toney down and saw the referee give a penalty. Specialist Toney hit the target.

Brentford are now 8th in the Premier League with 13 points from 10 games. Brighton is one place higher with 14 out of 9.
