1-7! Paris stars shine like never before: Kylian Mbappé scores hat-trick and fastest goal in club history, Messi and Neymar also fool around with Lille defense

What a night for PSG! In and against Lille it provided a major demonstration. Kylian Mbappé opened the party after eight seconds with the fastest goal in club history. Lionel Messi and Neymar also played around with the Lille defense and scored the necessary goals. Mbappé himself provided the icing on the cake with a hat trick and the accompanying 1-7.

It was Lionel Messi who perfectly served a deep-running Mbappé from his own half. Mbappe took the Argentinian’s pass in thanks: he lobbed it from just outside the box in one time over the outgoing Lille goalkeeper. It is also the fastest goal in Ligue 1 since the start of the measurements in the 2006-2007 season by statistics agency Opta.

After Mbappe’s opening goal, the Parisian party continued in Lille. Halfway through the first half, Lionel Messi opened his account. After a cross by Nuno Mendes, the Vlo put the ball cleanly in the corner.

After that it went quickly, because before the break it was already 0-4. Achraf Hakimi signed for the 0-3 and Neymar could not be missed on the scoreboard. In one time, the Brazilian goalkeeper Jardim outwitted.

Brazilian in shape

PSG really had no child with the national champion of the 2020/2021 season. Neymar was soon there after the break with the 0-5.

And if Neymar scored a second time, Mbappe obviously couldn’t be left behind. After good teamwork with the Brazilian, the French superstar shot the 1-6 against the nets. In between, Jonathan Bamba had softened on behalf of Lille.

But Mbappé didn’t stop there, because in the final phase the Frenchman – again assisted by Neymar, his third of the evening – managed a hat trick. Mbappe in super form with the thirteenth hat-trick of his career, but Neymar can also do something. The Brazilian has started the new season with five goals and six assists.

For Lille it was an evening to soon forget. The club from Northern France was completely lost on Sunday evening and conceded seven goals at home for the first time in its history.

After three games, PSG are all alone with the maximum of points at the top of the standings. It has already scored no less than 16 (!) times. Lille is in the middle of the ranking with 4 out of 9.
