PSG, Bayern and now Sevilla: captain of France under 20 takes a new step

Tanguy Nianzou has made the switch from Bayern Munich to Seville for 16 million euros. The central defender played 17 games in the Bundesliga last season, but did so mainly as a substitute. In Spain, 20-year-old Nianzou wants to conquer a permanent base.

On paper, Sevilla is the least club of all the clubs where Nianzou has played. Bayern Munich picked him up for free from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2020. He had played 13 games for PSG, in which he scored 3 times as a central defender.

Nianzou is the captain of France under 20, for which he has already played 10 caps in a year. At Sevilla he will compete with Marçao and the Dutchman Karim Rekik. He has signed a contract until the summer of 2027.
