Strong Charles De Ketelaere sees goal rejected during official debut at AC Milan, Divock Origi also makes the first minutes

Charles De Ketelaere has collected his first official minutes of play at AC Milan. The 21-year-old came on strongly against Udinese in the last twenty minutes and even scored, but the goal was disallowed for offside. De Ketelaeres direct competitor Brahim Diaz stood out earlier in the match with a goal and an assist: Milan eventually won 4-2. Divock Origi also made his debut with the Rossoneri, Alexis Saelemaekers came in with De Ketelaere.

Rodrigo Becao stunned San Siro at lightning speed, but Theo Hernandez and Ante Rebic quickly put things in order on behalf of the Rossoneri. Deep into injury time of the first half, Adam Masina rebalanced the boards.

The second half had only just started when Brahim Diaz, who was still preferred over De Ketelaere for the time being, gave the home team the lead again. Rebic then killed the match on Diaz’s instructions.

A few minutes later, Coach Stefano Pioli sent CDK into the meadow together with Alexis Saelemaekers. Olivier Giroud was also allowed to put on his competition outfit. Origi completed the Belgian trident between the lines about five minutes before the end. De Ketelaere saw another goal called off for offside after a combination between the three Belgians.

At the same time, Atalanta immediately grabbed a three-pointer at Sampdoria (0-2).
