Alexander Zverev has successfully operated on his right ankle. After an investigation in Germany, the German tennis player was found to have torn 3 ligaments in his right ankle.
Zverev slipped in his match against Rafael Nadal in the semifinal of Rolands Garros and had to stop the fight. “To get back to competition as soon as possible and to make sure all the ligaments heal well and to regain stability in my ankle, surgery was the best option,” Zverev wrote on Instagram.
