Sacha Koulberg is no longer Warworm’s T1. The club from the EuroMillions Volley League announced this on Facebook.

Koulberg would normally leave at the end of the season, but resigned on Friday. The club’s management committee, which finished last in the regular season, accepted the resignation.

After the elimination by Roeselare in the play-offs, Borgworm will still participate in the Challenge Final Four. The club will receive Achel on Sunday afternoon. Assistant Frédéric Servotte will sit on the bench for the rest of the season.

“We do not want to give up this season and are convinced that this team can do better than what the standings indicate,” it said in a press release. “The positive attitude of the players during the games against Roeselare makes us hope for positive results until the end of April. We have every confidence in Fred’s qualities to take on the challenge with motivation and work ethic.”
