In a balanced game, in which PSG monopolized the ball, no goals were scored in 90 minutes. As a result, eleven meters had to force the decision in the Parc des Princes.

In that penalty shoot-out, Lionel Messi was the first to score for the Parisians and he did not fail. Then Kylian Mbappé also kept a cool head. Leandro Paredes was unable to follow the good example of his teammates, but was lucky that visitor Andy Delort was unable to use his eleven meter immediately afterwards. Nice had scored six times after seven attempts. It was then Xavi Simons’ turn to keep the capitals in the running, but he was unable to convert his attempt.

PSG have won the Coupe de France six times in the past seven years.

Nice – Marseille, Bergerac (IV) – Versailles (IV), Nantes – Bastia (II) and Monaco – Amiens (II) are the posters in the quarter-finals.
