Antetokounmpo leads Milwaukee to win in NBA top game against Brooklyn

Reigning NBA champion Milwaukee won the top bill against Brooklyn 109-121 on Friday night. The Greek star player Giannis Antetokounmpo was good for 31 points (plus 9 assists and 7 rebounds) at the Barclays Center in New York. He thus did two points better than home player Kevin Durant.


In the Eastern Conference standings, Brooklyn (24 wins, 13 losses) remains second to Milwaukee (26 wins, 15 losses). The Chicago Bulls cemented their first place by winning 130-122 against Washington.

The Los Angeles Lakers took their fourth straight win. The Californians, sixth in the Western Conference, beat Atlanta 134-118. LeBron James became the top scorer with 32 points.

Utah Jazz, number three in the west, lost 122-108 against Toronto. With the Raptors, Fred VanVleet shone with 37 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, scoring his first-ever triple-double.
