David Goffin drops further on ATP ranking, other Belgians do rise

David Goffin hands in a place on Monday in the new world ranking in men’s tennis. He is 39th, four places above Tommy Paul. The 24-year-old American won his first ATP title last weekend in Stockholm and is ahead nine banks (43rd). That’s the biggest jump in the top 100.

At the very top of the standings there are no changes. Most top players prepared themselves for the ATP Finals in Turin last week. Serbian Novak Djokovic retains first place ahead of Russian Daniil Medvedev and German Alexander Zverev.

The Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime (10th) knocks over the Italian Jannik Sinner (11th). It is the only change in the top ten.

The Belgians who come after David Goffin in the ranking are all slightly ahead: Zizou Bergs (+4, 185th), Kimmer Coppejans (+3, 211th) and Ruben Bemelmans (+3, 215th).
