The most disputed Formula 1 championship in recent times is reaching its final stretch at an interesting moment: Max Verstappen is the leader of the classification, six points clear of Lewis Hamilton, and the first place in the Worlds changed hands four times in the last six tests.
And that could happen once again this Sunday, as the US GP is held at a track where Mercedes has won all the pole positions of the F1 hybrid era, that is, from 2014 until now. And where starting in the front row is essential: all eight races held in Austin were won by riders who came out of the top two places on the grid.
This is the last track of a sequence that started in Italy where Mercedes would have a small advantage, and will be followed by two circuits —in Mexico and Brazil— where Red Bull usually does well.

Band made official the purchase of the Formula 1 broadcasting rights for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. But there are some news: Formula 2 and Formula 3 are also in the acquisition package.
Only the GPs in the main category will be broadcast on open TV, while qualifying training sessions, F2 and F3 will be restricted to BandSports, the group’s closed sports channel.
Tudotv has also announced the official prices for F1 TV Pro, the plan that will offer live races – with the Band signal –, training and other special content for a monthly or annual subscription.
The Formula 1 GPs in Band will have comments by Reginaldo Leme and reports by Mariana Becker. The narration is not yet defined, but there are negotiations with narrators for the function. One of them is Sergio Maurício, titleholder in the category on SporTV until last year.
