Ibrahim Afellay has listened with complete amazement to the new song by Ryan Babel. The Galatasaray attacker raps in the track Open Letter about Afellay. Babel says in this that the 35-year-old analyst has money problems.
“Bro, I don’t know you from Barça, maybe more from PSV. Oh, now you’re an analyst? Hmm, so so. Heard in the corridors you’re broke, bro. You say things and don’t think about those anymore bro code. But I understand if your career comes to a dead end,” the 34-year-old Babel rapped in his new song about Afellay, with whom he still played together at the Orange squad.
The 2 wingers played 13 matches together in the Dutch national team. Afellay has no idea why Babel was making fun of him. “Listened with surprise,” Afellay said at Studio Voetbal. “I have only positive things to say about him. I have experienced him (Babel) at Orange and know him as a nice boy.”
Galatasaray was eliminated by PSV in the preliminary round of the Champions League. Babel has been on the bench for the past 2 matches of the top club. He hasn’t scored in his first 5 games.
