Tottenham Hotspur has strengthened itself on Monday with winger Bryan Gil. The twenty-year-old Spaniard comes over from Sevilla, which leased him to Eibar last season, and signed an agreement in London until mid-2026. The Spurs would pay Sevilla around 24 million euros for Gil. On top of that, Tottenham also sends Erik Lamela towards southern Spain.
Gil scored four goals and three assists in 29 league games for Eibar last season. He could not avoid the relegation of the Basque club, but made an impression personally. National coach Luis Enrique called him for the Spanish national team for the first time and he is currently present with the Olympic team in Tokyo. Before that, he also played the European U21 Championship with Spain this summer.
Toby Alderweireld also seems to be heading for the exit at Tottenham. The only remaining Red Devil in north London posed on Saturday with a scarf from the Qatari Al-Duhail. He could sign a contract for three seasons.
