FIBA Europe released the teams that will be allowed to participate in the Euroleague and EuroCup next season. Kangaroos Mechelen, Castors Braine and champion Namur are directly in the main draw of the EuroCup, the second European cup in women’s basketball.
Three Belgian clubs are already sure of a spot in the main draw of the EuroCup. In addition to champion Namur, Kangaroos Mechelen and Castors Braine also participate. Liège Panthers and Kortrijk Spurs then again have to contest the qualifications. Three Belgian Cats are also sure of a spot in the main draw: Julie Allemand with the French ASVEL Lyon and the “Russian” duo Julie Vanloo (Krasnoyarsk) and Kyara Linskens (Orenburg).
