Defender Léo Pereira was involved in a car accident this Monday morning (5th). The fact took place in the district of Recreio, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
According to journalist Venê Casagrande, from the newspaper The day, the defender returned after dropping his daughter off at school. The player’s wife, Tainá Castro, was also in the vehicle that reached the gate of a condominium in the region.
Léo Pereira informed Flamengo about the accident, which occurred at 8:30 am. The defender and his wife are doing well and he will train normally in the afternoon.

The defender will train in the coming days with the rosé squad to face Atlético-MG this Wednesday (7th), for the 10th round of the Brazilian Championship. The match against Galo will take place at 19:00 (GMT), in Mineirão.
