Andy Murray (ATP 124) has not been able to continue his victory on grass at the Queen’s tournament earlier this week. The 34-year-old Scotsman lost in the second round of the tournament in London 6-3 to Italian Matteo Berrettini (ATP 9).
Murray had defeated Frenchman Benoît Paire (ATP 46) 6-3 and 6-2 in the first round. It was his first win on grass in three years. Murray has topped Queen’s singles five times in 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2016.
“I didn’t play well,” said the Scot, who received a wild card to Wimbledon a day ago. “I am not happy that I lost to Berrettini twice 6-3. I want to do better.”
