Max Caldas, the current national coach of the Dutch hockey players, continues his career with the Spanish men’s team after the Olympic Games in Tokyo. He has signed there up to and including the 2024 Games in Paris.
Caldas had already informed the Dutch hockey association last year that he would quit after the Tokyo Games. After the Games were moved to 2021, Caldas’ contract was extended by the KNHB.
In the Dutch men’s team, 48-year-old Caldas is succeeded by Jeroen Delmee.
