Feyenoord has incurred the anger of Lucas Pratto’s agent. Gustavo Goñi cannot understand why the club is not relying on the Argentinian striker, who was hired from River Plate this winter.
“I think something happened at Feyenoord that nobody wants to tell me,” Pratto’s advocate Goñi told Argentinean broadcaster TyC Sports. “The coach tells Pratto that he has a lot of faith in him, that they see it in him. But if he changes, he will not come in.”
Pratto last came into action at Feyenoord in the 3-0 away match against Heerenveen on 27 January as a substitute. Since then, trainer Dick Advocaat no longer appealed to the 32-year-old striker, who is enjoying his private life in the Netherlands. “Pratto thinks many things about life in Europe are positive,” says his agent. “But he is angry because he is not playing and that was of course one of the reasons for his departure from River Plate.”
Pratto, rented for six months, still has an ongoing contract in Argentina. He normally returns to River Plate on July 1.
