Brooklyn star Kevin Durant has been fined $ 50,000 by the NBA for homophobic insults against actor Michael Rapaport. The NBA has reported this.
Durant showed his worst side in a private conversation on Instagram with Rapaport, after which the actor made the text fragments public. The top basketball player did not shy away from homophobic statements. Durant and Rapaport have been at odds with each other since the end of last year, after Rapaport made fun of an interview in which Durant only answered yes or no to questions.
The NBA is now fining Durant $ 50,000. “I regret that people have been able to see my language,” the Brooklyn player has already apologized. “That’s really not what I want people to see or hear from me. I hope to turn the switch and return to the public prosecutor’s office soon. ”
Durant has been in the rag basket with a hamstring injury since mid-February.
