The Russian Andrey Rublev (ATP 8) has won the ATP tournament in the Dutch Rotterdam (hard court / 980,580 euros).
Rublev, the fourth seed, beat Hungarian qualifier Marton Fucsovics (ATP 59) in the final in two sets: 7-6 (7/4) and 6-4. The game lasted 1 hour and 53 minutes.
For the 23-year-old Rublev it was his tenth ATP final. He has previously won seven titles. In 2020, the Muscovite won no fewer than five tournaments. He took the overall victory in Doha, Adelaide, Hamburg, Saint Petersburg and Vienna.
The 29-year-old Fucsovics went in search of his second ATP title, after his victory in Geneva in 2018. In 2019 he lost the final battle in Sofia.
