The Argentinian Juan Manuel Cerundolo (ATP 335) has immediately qualified for the final of the tournament in his own country in Cordoba (clay / 294,235 dollar) on his debut on the ATP circuit.
On Saturday in the semifinals, nineteen-year-old Cerundolo settled after a match of two hours and ten minutes of tennis in three sets (6-4, 4-6 and 6-2) with his fellow countryman Federico Coria (ATP 95).
In the final, the Argentinian teenager will meet Spaniard Albert Ramos (ATP 47), the fifth seed. In his semi-final battle, he defeated the Argentinian Facundo Bagnis (ATP 130), after no less than two hours and fifty minutes of tennis, in three sets (7-5, 5-7 and 6-3).
A third ATP title is at stake for the Spaniard, after previous victories in Bastad (2016) and Gstaad (2019).
